House Rules

What would Dungeons and Dragons be like without rules (or any game for that matter)? Unplayable. Now we all know just how wonderful a job the joes at Wizards and TSR did in making the rules of D&D and we're very thankful. However there is always a rule or two that just doesn't work for a gaming group (mine for one hates weight) and that rule takes a lot of fun from the game. So do we allow this rule to get away with ruining our fun? I think not. Instead we change the rule a little, or create a entirely new rule. This is all part of the Dungeons and Dragons experience.
